Baitholder Hooks

BABALU Fishing Tackle Baitholder hooks were developed to provide a firm and stable hold on natural baits.

Each box contains 50 hooks made from high carbon steel. The small barbs on the rod help prevent the bait from slipping during casting, presentation or rigging.

What distinguishes Baitholder hooks

Unlike a hook with a plain shank, the Baitholder has additional barbs along the shank. These create holding points that help keep worms, shrimp, pieces of fish and other soft baits in the correct position.

The sharp tip promotes rapid penetration, while the high-carbon steel construction provides mechanical resistance for different fishing techniques in fresh and salt water.

Differences between sizes

Sizes #8 and #6

Recommended for light fishing, small baits, thinner lines and smaller species. Suitable for fishing in rivers, lakes and float setups.

Sizes #4 and #2

Versatile options for medium-sized baits, bottom fishing, float fishing and different freshwater or saltwater species.

Sizes #1, #1/0 and #2/0

Designed for larger baits, stronger lines, surfcasting, sea fishing and larger species.

Selects the hook size according to the bait volume, the desired species, line strength and fishing conditions.

Use and care

Insert the bait along the rod so that the barbs keep it fixed. Avoid using a bait that is too bulky, as this may prevent the tip from being correctly exposed and reduce the effectiveness of the bait.

After use in salt water, rinse the hooks in fresh water and let them dry completely. Replaces any hook that presents corrosion, deformation or loss of sharpness.

The tips are sharp. Handle hooks carefully and keep them out of the reach of children.
